South Waterfront Block 25 - OHSU Center for Health and Healing
The World's First LEED Platinum Highrise Building
The LEED Platinum-certified 16-story, 396,000 square foot Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) flagship building in the new South Waterfront campus features mixed-mode ventilation (natural and mechanical), on-site power generation, a massive array of photovoltaic panels, an eco-roof, and of course the entire range of occupant and worker-friendly low-VOC paints, carpeting, and building materials among its many outstanding green features. In addition, the building treats 100 percent of its stormwater and wastewater on site, and uses no potable water for sewage conveyance or irrigation.
