The First LEED Gold Courthouse in the United States

A striking 229,000 square foot Thomas Mayne (Morphosis)-designed United States Courthouse for Eugene, Oregon. The Morse Courthouse features radiant heating and cooling, displacement ventilation, waterless urinals and a range of innovative features that make it more comfortable and economical to operate while reducing its environmental impacts. The building should produce energy savings in excess of 30 percent and water savings in excess of 40 percent annually.
